Meet Personal Injury Attorney Stuart A. Fraser IV
Stu Fraser graduated from Detroit College of Law (now Michigan State University College of Law) in 1978 with honors. In law school, Stu Fraser served as Editor-in-Chief of The Law Review.
Mr. Fraser did insurance defense litigation, and product liability defense with Martin, Bacon and Martin, P.C. for the first 15 years of his practice. This defense work was primarily for self-insured product manufacturers.
In 1994, Stu left the defense practice and started a plaintiff personal injury firm. That firm still exists today as Fraser & Souweidane, P.C. in Mt. Clemens. Stu served for years on the Board of Directors of the Macomb County Bar Association.
Stu specializes in handling wrongful death and serious injury cases. He has won hundreds of millions of dollars for his clients over the years. At the same time, Stu has been increasingly hired to serve as a facilitator/mediator. Mr. Fraser has facilitated thousands of cases with injuries and deaths stemming from claimed auto negligence, commercial truck negligence, construction site accidents, no fault insurance contract issues, premises liability, and products liability.
He has been an active member of Michigan Association for Justice for decades, and served for years on the Executive Board of MAJ. He is proud of the AV (highest) rating he has received for over 25 years for his legal ability and integrity, based on surveys of other lawyers and judges. For years, Stu has received the designation as a "Super Lawyer".
Perhaps most importantly, Stu is fortunate to be an involved family man, married for 35 years, with two children and five grandchildren.
